Bunny Hills and Bikinis – Heather Thurmeier

“Sunny California?  Not so much.  Amelia’s stuck at the office retreat in frickin’ Lake Tahoe with a grabby colleague who thinks he’s God’s gift to women.

At least the workshop presenter is super hot … if only she can get him to take her from the bunny hill to the bedroom.”

I bought this eBook from iTunes after discovering the author on twitter.  It sounded like my kind of read and it certainly was!

I liked the style of writing in this book, especially how it switched from Amelia to Nate’s point of view – I found myself wondering what the other would be thinking at that moment and was pleased to find out once the point of view had switched again.

The way in which Amelia and Nate met had me laughing out loud, Amelia is a strong feisty character and certainly seems to say what she’s thinking.  There were some thoughts she kept to herself though and these inner voice parts of the story were particularly enjoyable to read for both characters, they really defined their personalities and made me feel like I knew them better.

I found William quite mysterious (maybe it was the lack of inner voice for his character), it was obvious what he wanted but there seemed to be something hidden that I couldn’t quite work out.

Amelia and Nate’s relationship became very passionate, very quickly and I couldn’t help but worry that something would go wrong.  I was really rooting for them because they seemed so suited.

This is a fun, sexy story that I couldn’t put down, it would make a great holiday read.
