“The first step in solving a problem is recognizing there’s one to begin with. Here’s mine. My new roommate is a conceited, womanizing jerk. He pushes my buttons and drives me so crazy I want to strangle him daily.

There’s a million reasons why I should stay far away from him, the most obvious of which being that I hate him with the fire of a thousand suns.
Except that I don’t hate him.

It’s a reckless game we’re playing, treading the edge of an attraction so intense it might as well be a grenade.”

Firstly I’d like to thank the author for approving my NetGalley request for this eBook. The description caught my attention because I love storylines where the characters don’t seem to like each other but have crazy sexual tension.

Right from the start there were hints of trouble in Julia’s past and it inevitably got my imagination working overtime as I tried to figure out what could have happened. Her first meeting with Giles was entertaining to say the least. The sexual tension that I mentioned above was definitely present even through Julia’s irritation.

The storyline switched perspectives throughout, from Julia to Giles. I loved this because it gave me the opportunity to build up a clearer image of events. Giles liked to play games and seemed to revel in Julia’s feistiness – I have to admit that I found this totally amusing, it was like a game of cat and mouse!

When it became apparent that Giles also had something troubling on his mind I realised that this was more than just a book about lust, love and sexual tension – it had all those things in spades but there were hidden depths too. Family turmoil, body image and a betrayal of the worst kind which turned out to be something so relevant for today’s digital lifestyle.

A bathroom invasion, a prank war, truths in a grown-up fort and an eventful visit back home were just some of my favourite parts of Enamor.

This was a tantalising New Adult read with characters I could easily take to heart as I watched them grow. Fantastic!
