The Vincent Boys – Abbi Glines

“Beau Vincent is rude, bad, and dangerous to know. So why can’t good girl Ashton Gray keep away from him? She already has the perfect boyfriend – her town’s local Prince Charming, Sawyer Vincent.

But Sawyer is away for the summer, and in the meantime Ashton is bored, and the heat between her and Beau is undeniable – as well as irresistible.

Ashton is about to unleash her bad girl – but what will she do when Sawyer comes home? And how will Sawyer react when he returns to find his girlfriend in the arms of his best friend – and cousin?”

I had heard lots of good things about this book so when I saw it available as a free download on Amazon(currently £2.99) I jumped at the chance to try it for myself.

It was clear from the start that Ashton, Sawyer and Beau had grown up together and shared a really close friendship.  When the story moved on and the three of them were teenagers, everything had changed – Ashton and Sawyer were a couple and sexy Beau was the town bad boy.  They no longer spent all their time together so when Sawyer was out of town and Ashton and Beau met up I knew there would be some exciting times ahead.  I don’t condone cheating and often find it uncomfortable to read about but with these two it was just so obviously right for them to be together so I was willing them to get on with it!

The story switched between Ashton and Beau’s perspective and, as you may already know, I love books with a male point of view so hearing Beau’s thoughts about Ashton and how he felt were fantastic for me.  His protective side and sweet thoughts made it pretty easy to fall in love with him and that is just what I did – Beau is most definitely a new favourite of mine!

The sexual tension between Ashton and Beau was tantalising and I became completely caught up in their relationship, so badly wanting them to find a way to be together.  In the end it was a sad life event that was the turning point in the story and I just loved everything that followed.  I now really want to read the next book which is called The Vincent Brothers.

This was a seductive, quick read that I read in just a few hours, I stayed up past midnight to finish because I simply couldn’t put it down!
